SPRAVATO® is an FDA-approved treatment for adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) who have not improved after trying at least two antidepressant medications. It offers a different approach for patients who continue to struggle with depression despite traditional treatment.
SPRAVATO® is also approved as monotherapy, meaning it can be used without taking a daily antidepressant. In certain situations, it is also approved for adults with Major Depressive Disorder with acute suicidal thoughts or behaviors.
Because SPRAVATO® must be administered under a certified REMS program, treatment is completed in-office with monitoring and cannot be taken at home.
