A strong advocate for reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, Addie is passionate about improving access to high-quality psychiatric care within the Acadiana community. Addie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from LSU Health Sciences Center and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. During her undergraduate studies, she received the Elsevier Sciences, Inc. Faculty Recognition Award, presented to a student recognized by faculty, staff, and peers for outstanding leadership within the school.
She has also been recognized as one of the Top Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners in Acadiana through the Acadiana’s Choice “Best Of” Contest by NERUS Strategies, highlighting her commitment to excellence and the impact of her work in the local mental health community.
